Florencia Clemente, MSc. in Electrical Engineering. Assistant Professor at the Electrical Engineering Department. Received her MSc. degree with honors from Santa Clara University in 2013, with focus in Microwave and Communications. After finishing her undergraduate studies, Florencia spent some time in industry. A scholarship from ANII brought her back to UCU. Passionate about innovation and technology, she has been working in the creation of the Engineering and Innovation Center (CII@UCU), and looking for effective ways to spread the enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship to engineering faculty and students. She envisions herself playing a role in getting together the world of innovation and the traditional, technical oriented engineering. In that sense she is seeking to carry out doctoral studies in business and technology, teaching oriented.
